After 5 years of experience as an independent artist in the industry, 2 years of experience managing and developing the artist group known as the ‚Bookish Songs Collective‘ and successfully completing her Sound Selling certificate at SAE Munich, our founder, Chiara Fricke, decided to launch her own independent record label.

Wanting to further dive into the industry niche of fantasy and book music that she’d already been familiar with but yearning to broaden her area of expertise at the same time, the idea for ‚Fables‘ was born. A record label that artists of various genres but with a nerdy soul could call home, united by a love for storytelling, aesthetics and soundscapes. In a highly competitive industry that is being flooded by AI and that values statistics over originality and talent, Fables provides a breath of fresh air, constantly striving for diversity, female empowerment and community.

Coming from a long line of self employed & business owning women (tracing all the way back to her great-grandmother), Fricke decided to pave her own path in todays music world by starting her own record label. While she continues to make her own music and grow her own artist project through Fables, she recently also started her Masters Degree in Music Management and now pursues the goal of supporting and developing more artists from across the globe.
